At kilometer 178 + 500 of the Delicias to Chihuahua highway, a serious car accident occurred that left at least a 29-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, who were siblings, without vital signs.
It all happened because the driver of a recent model Chevrolet Silverado pickup with Colorado license plates (United States CII-133) collided with the rear of a trailer, which was traveling with a double semi-trailer.
Paramedics from the State Government Rescue Unit and the Red Cross, as well as firefighters, were present to extract the two bodies. They also injured three people, one of them a five-year-old child.
To be immediately transferred to the city of Chihuahua, to receive corresponding medical attention in a hospital.
Elements of the National Guard arrived and set up an operation. It was also reported that the unit was moving at high speed and the trailer, due to its load, was traveling on the right lane at low speed, which is what caused the serious vehicle accident.
