Fullmetal Alchemist will have two more live-action | EarthGamer

The official Twitter account of the Fullmetal Alchemist live-action movie announced that there are two productions on the way, one in May and one in June. These will be part of celebration for the 20 years of the franchise as the page had made us speculate vengeance-scar.jp in which they had shown the first image of them.

The films will feature much of the live-action cast of full metal alchemist from 2017, with Ryōsuke Yamada, who you may remember as Nagisa from Assassination Classroomsuch as Edward Elric, Atomu Mizuishi, from the musicals of princeoftennis, such as Alphonse Elric, Tsubasa Honda, who participated in Blue Spring Ride in the role of Futaba, she will now play Winry Rockbell and Dean Fujioka will play Roy Mustang.

The first of these films will be titled Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-hen – Fukushūsha Scar (Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter – The Avenger Scar) and opens on May 20, its story will follow the fight between Edward and the villainous Scar.

the second movie, Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-hen – Saigo no Rensei (Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter – The Last Transmutation), opens on June 24 and will show the final battle of the story. The company responsible showed a preview that has the narration of part Romi Park, the original voice actor of Edward Elric in the anime:

For his part, Fumihiko Sori returns to direct the live-action film of full metal alchemist like he did in 2017.

The first live-action production of 2017

As we mentioned, much of the cast of the first live-action film of full metal alchemist they returned in these new productions. It originally opened the Tokyo International Film Festival in October 2017 for its world premiere. This adaptation was also shown in Japan on IMAX and 4DX screens and topped the Japanese box office in its opening weekend. A year later, Netflix premiered the film on its streaming service.

The film was also released in more than 190 countries around the world, including the United States and Europe. According to the film’s official website, it was the widest international opening for any Japanese film, whether live-action or animated.
