Those affected are men between 48 and 53 years old.
Emergency services have extinguished the fire declared this Thursday in a phytosanitary product warehouse in the El Labradorcico de Águilas industrial estate, according to sources from the Emergency Coordination Center.
Several callers reported, around 4:00 p.m., that the ship – a 500-square-meter warehouse – was completely burning, as well as a company pump.
Civil Guard troops attended the place of the fire; firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire Fighting and Rescue Consortium; members of the Civil Protection of the City Council of Águilas; and an ambulance from the Emergency and Health Emergencies Management 061.
At 5 p.m. the fire was declared extinguished. The displaced toilets attended ‘in situ’ to four workers affected by smoke poisoning, all of them men between 48 and 53 years old.
