Three miners and one rescuer were taken to intensive care after the tragedy that occurred at the Listvyazhnaya mine in the Kemerovo region. This was told on Friday, November 26, in the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

However, the condition of one of the miners is assessed as grave.
On the morning of November 25, smoke began to form in the mine workings of Listvyazhnaya Mine LLC. The accident killed 46 miners and six rescuers. The combustion products poisoned 67 people, of whom 39 were hospitalized. In total, there were 285 people in the mine.
According to REN TV, 12 rescuers went to doctors after an emergency. It is noted that they inhaled combustion products.
On the fact of the incident, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 217 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities, resulting in the death of a person by negligence”). The Investigative Committee reported the arrest of three people after the death of people at the mine. We are talking about the 47-year-old director of the mine, his 59-year-old first deputy and 36-year-old site manager.
In addition, two more were detained – persons who carried out an inspection at the mine a week ago.
Also, a criminal case was opened on the fact of negligence of employees of the Rostekhnadzor department. According to the investigation, in November of this year they drew up acts on the inspection of the roadway, without actually checking it.
Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said on November 26 that the issue of tightening the rules would be considered only based on the results of the work of the investigation commission in Kuzbass.
