In the last few hours Epic Games kicked off the Collision event of Fortnitewhich serves as a prologue for what will come in the Season 3 of the famous and iconic battle royale.
This event has now taken the game offline by putting the end of season 2 before the season 3 debut early tomorrow, Sunday 5th June. The end of the event led players to a screen that reads “to be continued …”With a mushroom, alluding to next season’s theme, whatever that may mean.
Some leaks revealed that Avatar characters may arrive in the gameand perhaps Pandora could be the backdrop to Fortnite in season 3.
The event saw players launched from the moon base of the Seven to land on the island and fight with a whole group of tanks and airships firing missiles. Here, like many of the recent events of Fortnitethe following is a kind of mini cooperative mission on the tracks.
At one point in the mission, the ground explodes and Jonesy leads the player’s team through a brief firefight with Foundation. The Zero Point shows several multiverses, including one that shows a fight between what appears to be Obi-Wan and Darth Vader.
It was also presented within the event Geno’s character, a high-ranking member of the Imaginary Order. He was first mentioned during the Zero Crisis Finale event. Other than that, we don’t know much about him.
The question that now arises is: when will it return Fortnite? The title will not remain offline for long, and in fact already tomorrow 5 June 2022, probably around 8 in the morningseason 3 of Fortnite Chapter 3.
Fortnite is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, MacOS and Microsoft Windows.
