“The pools had to be dried and closed due to the plague of mosquitoes that there were,” he said.
He also said that, fortunately, this space had no worrying damage and currently only work is being done to repair some fissures, cleaning, and in-depth analysis of the pool and the diving pit to revive the place and refill each pond.
“They will be open so that all Alvaradans and the inhabitants of the Évora region can go spend some time with the family in the municipal pools,” he said.
He commented that the Sanitary Jurisdiction III was already in charge of endorsing the work that has been carried out, as well as imposing the health measures with which the site will be reopened.
He said the goal is at Easter or the first days of April whatever when doors open of municipal swimming pools, in good condition, to guarantee the safety of society.
