In a Japanese high school tournament, a whimsical free kick pattern was developed that worked on top of everything else.
Japanese Takugawa Gakuen’s high school team would pull a pretty free kick pattern on their sleeves when it faced Seyiro’s high school students in a local inter-school tournament.
Takagawa Gakuen’s players now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. As the players jump happily, you can hear the children’s song “The Circle Little Spins” in their ears.
But there was an idea to it – the misdirected ball was turned into a cross towards İstanbul, who was waiting for it in the box.
Seiryon defenders tried to guard their disengaged opponents, but failed miserably. The ball bounced off the net.
The entire Takugawa Gakuen team hosted a corner ticket to celebrate a personal hit. The tournament is one of the biggest sporting events in Japan every year, so the goal attracted wider attention.
When the ball was in the box, Seyiro’s goalkeeper began to hesitate desperately in the direction of the referee, but there is hardly any mention of innocent circuit play in the football rules. Takugawa Gakuen won the match 4-2.
