Football Norwegian Football Association president criticizes Qatar World Cup in March – now a surprise awaited at the airport when access to a Qatar plane was denied

Norwegian President of the Football Association Lise Klaveness was startled by his bold speech in March when he criticized next winter’s World Cup host Qatari at the FIFA summit of the International Football Association.

Klaveness told Fifa’s decision-makers that Qatar’s race host is unacceptable because of the country’s human rights problems.

On Sunday, Klaveness tried to get on a plane and fly to Qatar to meet with representatives of the European Football Association Uefa as well as the World Cup organizing committee and authorities.

However, he could not get on the plane. The corona certificate of the chairman of the association was not considered appropriate, the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation NRK news.

Klaveness said Uefa had not informed him of the application that passengers should use to present the documents.

NRK: n commentator Jan Petter Saltvedt does not think it can be a pure mistake, given what Klaveness has said about Qatar in the past.

“This feels like a selection. I refuse to believe that this is a coincidence, even though everyone should be familiar with corona regulations. This is a sign of who is in power, ”Saltvedt said.
