Another soulslike? We are ready!
This is not a completely exclusive announcement, having also appeared in other summer showcases, but Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn appeared during theXbox Games Showcase 2024 to confirm its launch date and make the arrival of D1 official in the Xbox Game Pass library of titles (to which you can subscribe with this link)
The title is – once again, we’re getting used to it – a soulslike created by the authors of Ashen, one of the most original Dark Souls clones to appear in recent years. This time, however, the “minimalist” and caricatural style is abandoned to embrace realistic graphics in dark fantasy settings, as you can see from the trailer at the end of the article.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn tells us a story in which weapons and gods clash in a battle for the future of humanity. in the role of Nor Vanek, an elite soldier of the Coalition army, we will travel together with Enki (a mysterious fox-like companion) to obtain our revenge against the gods. The powers of the little fox, in reality also a deity, will allow Nor’s powers and abilities to be amplified, allowing her to face any challenge.
The peculiarity of the game lies not only in the great potential offered in battle by the combinations of the powers of the two characters, but also in the possibilities of exploration and traversal, which allow you to move easily on the roofs or fly, chaining together attacks and combos that start from advantageous positions .
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn it will be available for PC, Xbox Series X | S and PS5 (you can already pre-order it at this link) starting from 18 July 2024arriving on Xbox Game Pass at D1.
