Frankenstein's monster is one of the most iconic characters in popular culture. Being the focus of multiple books and movies, we can all recognize this being. Now, a new adaptation starring Christian Bale and Jessie Buckley is on the way, and We already have the first look at these two actors in their roles as the monster Frankenstein and the Bride respectively.
Through its social networks, Warner Bros. shared the first images of The Bride!a film that will hit theaters until the end of 2025. Here we can see Bale in the role of Frankenstein's monster, complete with scars on his head.. For her part, Buckley makes an appearance with the iconic white hair that characterizes the Bride.

For those who don't have this movie on their radar yet, The Bride! It will be a remake of Bride of Frankensteinfrom 1935. The film will be set in Chicago during the 1930s. Here, Dr. Frankenstein will ask Dr. Euphronius for help to create a companion for his monster, and the corpse of a murdered woman is selected. Like the original work, the story will present us with a romance that is prohibited by society.
In addition to Christian Bale and Jessie Buckley, the film will feature the talents of Penélope Cruz, Peter Sarsgaard and Annette Bening, as well as direction by Maggie Gyllenhaal.
