SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Subscription administrative management fintech BHub has applied for registration with the Central Bank to become a payments institution.
Created in 2021, the platform provides outsourced finance, accounting, legal and human resources services and has already raised BRL 180 million from investors in two rounds.
“We reached the amount of more than half a billion reais handled per year, triggering this to give rise to the regulation of the Central Bank and start the process of requesting a payment institution license”, said BHub, in a note, explaining that it handled 61 million in accounts payable and receivable in August.
