Final Fantasy XVIthe latest numbered installment in the FF series, is now available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
The Final Fantasy XVI Complete Edition also includes the exciting DLCs “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide” at a discounted price, available on PC.
DLC chapters can also be purchased individually or as an Expansion Pass on all platforms.
Additionally, those who purchase the game before October 17 at 8:00 a.m. PDT/9:00 a.m. CST through Steam or the Epic Games Store will receive the following downloadable items:
- Braveheart Sword
- Cait Sith Amulet (Accessory that increases Gil gain)
- “Sixteen Bells” orchestration roll
Also, the demo of FFXVI is now available and allows players to try out the game. The trial includes the game’s opening prologue set during Clive’s teenage years, with the ability to transfer save data to the full game upon release.
This demo also includes an “Eikonic Challenge” mode, allowing players to enjoy even more frenetic combat and access to more Eikonic abilities in battle.

What is Final Fantasy XVI about?
FFXVI introduces players to an all-new story within the Final Fantasy universe, an epic dark fantasy set in the realms of Valisthea – a land blessed by the light of the Mother Crystals, where peace is threatened as the Scourge threatens to destroy its domain.
The fate of this land is decided by the Eikons, powerful and fearsome creatures, and their Dominants, men and women who have been blessed with the ability to call and wield them.
This is the story of Clive Rosfield, a warrior with the title of First Shield of Rosaria and who swore to protect his younger brother Joshua, the Dominant of Phoenix, the Eikon of Fire. Before everything, Clive will be involved in a great tragedy and will swear revenge with the dark Eikon of Ifrit, a mysterious entity that brings calamity after its awakening.
The first DLC, “Echoes of the Fallen,” unlocks a new story for Final Fantasy XIV with battles, weapons, accessories, leveling up and more. The adventure begins before the final battle of the base game, when strange dark crystals begin circulating on the black market. Players will follow Clive and company during their investigations, which will lead them to a group of suspicious traders, to a fallen tower known as the “Sagespire” and the terrible secrets that await within.
The second and final DLC chapter, “The Rising Tide,” brings a brand new story, battles, side quests, weapons, accessories, leveling up, and more, adding new depth to Clive’s journey before the thrilling finale. Final Fantasy XVI.
The players of Final Fantasy XVI Players will gain new Eikon abilities, explore a beautiful new area in the hidden land of Mysidia, and dive into battle against the legendary water Eikon, Leviathan the Lost. This DLC also adds all-new end-game content with the Kairos Gate, where players will face 20 stages of intense ranked, rated battles against waves of enemies.
