Final Fantasy 7 Remake it could arrive in the near future also on Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One. At least that would seem to suggest a poll posted by the Chinese division of Xbox on Twitter.
As reported GameRant, the survey in question asked players to choose their favorite “Xbox” character from the available options. Among these was also Tifa Lockhart, one of the protagonists of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The tweet was removed shortly after publication and replaced with a new poll where the Seventh Heaven bartender is no longer available.
Obviously there is the possibility that this is a simple mistake or that the “Tifa” referred to by the offending tweet is actually that of the original Final Fantasy VII, also available on Xbox consoles. This is unlikely to us, but it cannot be ruled out.
However, despite Final Fantasy 7 Remake currently only available on PS5 and PS4, nothing would prohibit Square Enix from releasing the game on other platforms once. ended the period of exclusivity agreed with Sony.
As we know, the initial exclusivity period of Final Fantasy 7 Remake was supposed to last a year, and then be extended by another six months, according to some rumors, with the release of the Intergrade version for PS5. In short, the agreement signed between Square Enix and Sony should come to an end at the end of the year, with the game that could therefore land on other shores already in the early months of 2022.
Similarly a few months ago Final Fantasy 7 Remake was spotted in the EpicData Tracker database, suggesting the arrival of the remake also on PC exclusively for the Epic Games Store.
