What's new in the Final Fantasy 14 graphics update
As previously announced by the team led by Naoki Yoshida, version 7.0 will redo the look of Final Fantasy 14 on PC. In particular, from the benchmark it will be possible to notice improvements in terms of texture and shadow resolution, higher quality materials and other various improvements, all without betraying the original style of the game.
This will naturally make the game more challenging to play, meaning some players currently playing Final Fantasy 14 on older configurations may experience some issues. Square Enix in this regard specifies that players could score with the benchmark a score up to 20% lowercompared to that of Endwalker.
Before leaving you, we remind you that the Dawntrail expansion of Final Fantasy 14 will be available from July 2nd on PC, PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series The Verdecrociata version has been available for a few weeks, with users subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate able to redeem the Starter Bundle which includes the base game and some expansions.
