During the Mediatour to promote expansion Endwalker, director and producer Naoki Yoshida has revealed that currently Final Fantasy 14 the beauty of 24 million players. Not bad after eleven years of presence on the market. This is a really sizeable user base.
Yoshida also revealed that it is the Final Fantasy that has produced more profits than ever. We do not find it hard to believe, given these numbers. In April 2021 Square Enix had talked about 22 million players, a figure evidently increased in the following months to 24 million today.
