Netflix has officially confirmed that One Piece Season 2 Filming they started and shared a short behind the scenes video showing the actors travelling to Cape Town.
Let us remember that the filming of One Piece mostly takes place in South Africawhich has all the best locations to recreate many settings from the saga created by Eiichirō Oda.

“It’s happening, Nakama! From all over the world, our Straw Hats have gathered to begin filming the epic adventure of the second season! There’s no better place to start this journey than the Going Merry Bridge,” reads the official tweet which you can see below.
“Hey Siri, how do you get to South Africa?” with these words the Mexican actor Iñaki Godoywho plays protagonist Monkey D. Luffy in the show, kicks off the video, before throwing his guitar over his back, looking directly into the camera and adding, “Here we go again.”
Between other stars reuniting in the video are Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro) traveling from Tokyo, Taz Skylar (Sanji) departing from Las Vegas, and Jacob Romero (Usopp) and Emily Rudd (Nami) who have left the shores of Los Angeles.
“At the Major Route!” shouts Godoy, after the group reunites on the “ship”, referring to the entire ocean route that envelops the world of the anime and manga series that inspired the TV series.
We also recall that Netflix has revealed four new characters and their actors for One Piece Season 2.
