The clashes that took place at the weekend in West Darfur, which killed and injured about 300 people, were among the deadliest clashes in the region during the past two years.
The Central Committee of Sudan Doctors said it was not possible to determine the death toll for Monday, but at least ten people were killed.
The fighting extended to El Geneina, where the city’s main hospital was attacked and four people were killed, according to the doctors’ committees.
Residents said they saw no sign of army intervention.
The latest battles began after a clash on Thursday between members of different tribes, according to rights groups operating in the area.
The Darfur Bar Association said the clashes had displaced at least 20,000 people after their homes were burned.
