L’early access to FIFA 23 is available from today, September 27, 2022, allowing all those who have purchased the Ultimate Edition of the game or are subscribed to the EA Play Pro subscription service, but it seems that problems have already been recorded with server down due to the rush of players online.
In a similar way to what had already emerged yesterday for access to the 10-hour trial version dedicated to EA Play subscribers, the question is now potentially extended to all users, given that problems with servers for access to online functions of the game have been detected on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
Obviously this does not mean that anyone is having problems playing FIFA 23, but that they have received connection errors with reports of “server down”, due to the excessive concentration of players trying to enter the online platform.
This, if nothing else, proves that the popularity of the series is always very high and many players have been waiting for a long time for the opportunity to start playing FIFA 23, so much so as to cause a clogging of online traffic even in early access, or with a reduced potential audience since it is dedicated only to those who have purchased the Ultimate Edition or subscribed to EA Play Pro.
In any case, the problems should be resolved shortly, waiting to see what will happen with the actual launch of the game: FIFA 23 will finally be available for all players starting from 30 September 2022. In the meantime, read our FIFA 23 review.
