The United States Department of Justice reported that the Mini Lic is still prosecuted for other crimes in that country, so the FGR will insist on managing his extradition to Mexico.
In February 2020, the Attorney General’s Office obtained the first conviction against the perpetrator of that homicide, Heriberto “P”, for 14 years. Also, in June 2021, the second sentence was obtained against Juan “P”, for 32 years.
