The work will take place in El Palmeral de Santiago and Zaraíche, in Murcia, if the rain does not prevent it
The Children’s Theater Festival in Santiago and Zaraíche FESTEÍN, in Murcia, says goodbye to its sixth edition this Sunday with the performance of the show ‘The tree of fantasy’, by the Alicante company Trébol Teatro. It is a family musical “with a lot of rhythm”, they affirm from the organization of the contest, which values friendship and nature.
The performance will begin at 12 noon, outdoors, in El Palmeral de Santiago and Zaraíche, weather conditions permitting. Otherwise, the performance will take place at the Cultural Center of Santiago and Zaraíche at the same time. In both cases, entry will be free until full capacity is reached, and during the representation, compliance with the security measures and current recommendations to prevent Covid-19 will be ensured, the organization guarantees.
‘The fantasy tree’ ends an edition that has had four other shows, represented throughout the week, such as ‘The bush of roses’, by Representaiment; or ‘The dragon’s spell’, by La Carreta Teatro. Yesterday the public was able to enjoy two performances: ‘El castillo de arena’, by Teatro Strappato; and ‘How to be a good Quijote’, by the Murcian company Teatro de la Distribución.
Great reception
This sixth edition of FESTEÍN has had a great reception among the public, completing the capacity in most of the representations, according to the organization. For next year, the Municipal Board of Santiago and Zaraíche and the organization of the event expect to be able to return to the origins of the festival and “re-perform the performances in various squares of Santiago and Zaraíche.”
