The president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóowarned his people this Sunday that “I do not want a party that worships the leader, but that is demanding of whoever has to lead it, because I am not here to be right in everything, to only listen to praise, to be I allow lies or applaud excesses and corruption; I am not here to applaud shamelessness in exchange for a salary. And I am not Pedro Sánchez and I never will be.
During the closing of the XXVII Intermunicipal, in a crowded pavilion at the fairgrounds of the capital of Valladolid and surrounded by the PP’s senior staff, Feijóo pointed out that «I do not want an intransigent and single-minded partybut an open party; “I do not want a proud party that believes in the absolute truth but rather with the humility necessary to recognize errors, correct them and serve.”
