Far Cry 6, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart And Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy were three of the new and most successful titles in the UK in 2021 a sell more in physical than digital format.
We know that physical games on consoles are becoming increasingly rare, dominated by digital, but obviously for some productions this rule still does not apply, at least in the United Kingdom.
However, it is about experiences exclusively single player: among the new releases, Resident Evil Village, which sold 54.8% of its copies in digital format, does not fall into this group, albeit slightly.
For the rest of the games the overtaking seems now established, although the percentages increase substantially only on the titles published for some time, often subject to discounts and promotions on the various platforms. Nintendo digital data is not present.
