For years it has been made clear that Konami has not the slightest intention of returning to the series of Silent Hill, outside of some official merchandise. Thus, It shouldn’t be a surprise to hear that the Japanese company didn’t renew the official Silent Hill domain, and a fan took advantage of this situation to become the owner of this domain and make fun of Konami.
Although it is currently unknown why Konami did not revamp the Silent Hill site, what is clear is that a fan saw this opportunity and took it. Currently, if you go to https://silenthill.com/you will not find information about the series or official merchandise, but a tweet from Masahiro Ito, former art director of the serieswith the following message:
“I wish I hadn’t designed Pyramid Head.”
I wish I hadn’t designed fxxkin Pyramid Head.

This comment is a response to the way your creation has been treated by Konami. At the moment it seems that there is no response from the Japanese company, demonstrating once again how little interest they have in Silent Hill. It will be interesting to see how this case progresses.
On related topics, Konami announced new Silent Hill skateboards. Similarly, a group of fans are already working on a remake of the original Silent Hill using Unreal Engine 5.
Editor’s note:
This is an extremely strange case. It is one thing that Konami has no intention of making a game, but another is the lack of attention they showed. Let’s hope the company proves they are worthy to use this domain, or their situation is better than death.
