Team Folon, the development team of Fallout: Londonhas big plans for the futurethe first of which is to become a software house actual, immediately after launching the total conversion for Fallout 4 on April 23, 2024.
The inspiration for Team Folon, this is the name of the collective that created Fallout: London, was The Forgotten City, which was also born as a total conversion and then became an independent game (in this case the starting game was The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim).
In fact, Fallout: London has had a truly enormous resonance, despite not being an official Bethesda game. In development since 2019, it is set in 2237, between Fallout 1 and 2, and will allow players to travel to a London rebuilt with great care. The player will wake up in an underground laboratory and will have to escape to the surface following an attack by a faction with unclear intentions.
The Dual Shockers header got to interview lead developer Dean Carter and lead 2D artist Emily Kemp, with Carter expressing hope that Team Folon will continue to work as an independent studio, although he couldn't vouch for everyone in it (who currently works on a volunteer basis). As already mentioned, the model followed is that of Modern Storyteller, the studio born from Forgotten City, as also confirmed by Kemp who spoke of it as a source of inspiration.
