Formula 1, Verstappen dominates in Arabia. Leclerc on the podium
In Saudi Arabia the story is always the same: Max Verstappen dominates and wins the Jeddah Grand Prix without any problem, placing his Red Bull once again in front of everyone. Sergio Perez completes the one-two for the Austrian team for the second time in a row after Bahrain, while this time Charles Leclerc takes the lowest step of the podium with Ferrari (with a final fast lap).
F1, Bearman points debut for Ferrari's English talent
Fourth place for Oscar Piastri on McLaren, fifth for Fernando Alonso with Aston Martin followed by George Russell's Mercedes, while an excellent seventh place for the debutant Oliver Bearman with the other Ferrari, replacing Carlos Sainz forced into the pits after an operation for appendicitis.
Verstappen's start is perfect and the Dutchman holds the first position without problems, while Leclerc is attacked and threatened by Perez but the Monegasque does well to resist, keeping the Mexican behind. On the fourth lap, however, Perez takes advantage of the DRS and overtakes his rival's Red, putting himself behind his teammate, then three laps later Stroll hits the wall and forces the Safety Car to come into play. The first three in front all stop, Norris continues and takes the lead but his leadership does not last long with Verstappen behind him. The positions then all return to how they were before and as regards the race of those in front there is little else to talk about. In the middle of the group, however, there is more battle: Norris and Hamilton, the last to stop for the pit stop, slip to eighth and ninth position but with the softer tire to exploit in the last hundred kilometers to travel. The two Britons try to make up for it under Bearman, who however does a great job of resisting by placing personal fast laps to keep his rivals at a distance and defend seventh place
