Almost 10 years have passed since that tragic October 5, 2014. And it seems like yesterday. For those who don't remember, this is the date in which Jules Bianchi was involved in a terrible accident, going off the track and crashing into a service vehicle that was trying to move Adrian Sutil's car.
That accident caused the French pilot such serious damage that he fell into a coma. 9 months later, on 17 July 2015, Jules lost his life in Nice.

For Charles Leclerc, Bianchi was a sort of mentor and the families of the two drivers have always remained close even after Jules' death.
For the ten years since the accident that led to Bianchi's death, Leclerc has decided to dedicate his helmet that he will use this weekend at the Japanese Grand Prix, which will be held in Suzuka, to Jules Bianchi.
Leclerc will race with the helmet that Bianchi used in his last season in Formula 1, 2014, in which he defended the colors of the Marussia team. On the helmet there will also be the number 17, Jules' number, which following his death was withdrawn by the FIA.

“This is obviously a very special place, and every time I arrive at Suzuka I am reminded of Jules,” Leclerc told Motorsport.com. “I think about Jules very often, because he was the person who helped me be here, where I am now.”
“In 2010 Jules spoke with Nicolas Todt, my manager, so that I was supported to get to F1. For me, for my career, he was decisive. And before that episode, we have always been very, very friends. And also our families are still very close to each other.”
“So when I come to Suzuka I think it's always a very special place. I'll be racing with a helmet for him, this weekend, and clearly, as always, he will be in my heart. For me it will be very important to do well this weekend.”
