You are back from vacation, drive along the highway, at the wheel of your car continue in your lane until you hear a roar behind you: it will be a supercar of some lucky motorist and instead a single-seater in red livery appears in the mirrors that looks like to be an F1 Ferrari (complete with a Marlboro sponsor on the rear wing). It is not a fictional story but what those traveling along the section of D4, the Czech Republic motorway on which a movie episode was staged, might have thought: a racing car darted between the cars. A story that immediately went around the world and that we have already told you previously, with the video of the event that was watched and covered by local law enforcement agencies in search of a face to match the crime.
The identity of the self-styled driver is still a mystery, with the traffic police of the Czech Republic starting a real manhunt in the hope of framing the culprit. There are actually some suspicions, with clues that in the past had led to a person who had been questioned several times by the authorities. In fact, the episode has been repeating itself for some time and what next a few days ago is the third event of this kind. The man put under pressure by the police, however, has always denied everything and without overwhelming evidence, the investigators have always had to let the man go.
Beyond the identity of the driver, however, the fact remains that what happened could have represented a serious danger to other road users, with a single-seater of that power that is designed to circulate on regular roads, nor is it equipped with homologation such as to make it usable outside the racing circuits. If the police can catch the jokerthe crimes against him will undoubtedly make him stop wanting to venture out of a racetrack.
