Sergio “Checo” Pérez once again had a classification to be forgotten now in the Canadian Grand Prix. The Mexican could barely reach 16th place, this after being left out in Q1. Checo said he was upset by his actions and although he gave some possibilities of what led to that result, Helmut Marko responded and blamed him.
The Red Bull advisor was clear in ensuring that Checo Pérez’s RB20 had no problem and that the result that was achieved was the fault of the driver, this case of Checo Pérez. In an interview for Motorsport, he assured that Checo is going through psychological problems and that this complicates his competition.

“It’s not the car, you can see it with Max. I think it’s more psychological“said the former Formula 1 driver. Marko believes that there is much more in the Mexican’s head than there should be and that this is complicating his performance and not only now but in many races.
