In 2022, F1 is scheduled to compete in 23 Grands Prix, a record figure for the top car formula. The FIA today issued the timetable for all sessions that will make up the 2022 calendar.
The table below therefore definitively formalizes the fact that free practice will always last 60 minutes also on Friday, and that the elimination of Thursday to compact the weekend will lead to the shift of free practices to 13:00 and 17:00 as regards the usual times of European weekends. This means that teams and drivers will not be able to collect indicative data during free practice, because neither the first nor the second session will coincide with the times at which they will take to the track in the following days for the decisive sessions given that Qualifications and Races will be held at 15: 00. Four night races: Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Abu Dhabi.
Below is a summary of the program of atypical weekend‘, for example that of the Grand Prix of Emilia Romagna and Made in Italy, the first appointment in Europe of the F1 2022 championship scheduled from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 April.
