“Eyal Al-Hawai” returned the “Al-Ameed” squad to the forefront of the titles of the age groups for table tennis, which represented the best compensation for the loss of the two league titles and the Cup of His Highness the President of the State in the men’s category. And the “third” wasl, where the duo Ali and Youssef Ahmed Al-Hawai participated in crowning the “Blue” with the title.
The junior league competitions, which were crowned with the title “Al-Ameed”, also surpassed their competitors, Al-Ahly youth “runner-up” and Sharjah “third”, with the participation of the trio Ali, Abdullah and Youssef Al-Hawai, which is the first title for victory since the 2017-2018 season, after Sharjah crowned the title of the 2018-2019 season, The competition was absent for two seasons before returning in the current season.
The brilliance of “Ayal Al-Hawai” with “Al-Ameed” in leading the “Blue” to regain the absent title at the youth league level since the last coronation 2014-2015, and “The Brigadier” crowned the title at the expense of its rivals Sharjah “runner-up” and Al-Wasl “third”, with the participation of the five brothers during The league’s career, in which “Blue” played 18 games.
The Chinese Shanqi, the technical director of table tennis at Al-Nasr Club, and the oldest coach of the game at the level of the Emirates at present, saw that “Ayal Al-Hawi” represent an important addition to the table teams in the “Brigade”, and said: “When I came to the Emirates about 27 years ago, specifically in 1995, it was Ahmed Al-Hawai, the father of the current dean’s stars, is a former player in the club’s stage teams as a goalkeeper.
He added, “About 8 years ago, the journey of the five brothers began in the club after their father decided to enter the game, and they began a long journey in training and rehabilitation before they currently reach the stage of continuous participation and achievement and titles,” noting that he is waiting for the sixth brother to join “Eyal Al-Hawi” Rashid. He is four years old now.
On the other hand, Ahmed Al-Hawai, the father of the five brothers, expressed his happiness with the positive results and the good achievements of his children in their journey with the “Brigade.” He said, “I have previously moved as a player between more than one hobby between volleyball and athletics at Al Wasl Club, and football in the stages of Al Nasr Club, I was keen to reveal the favorite sports of my children since childhood, and I was guided to the game of table tennis, which has become a passion for them.”
Al-Hawai, who is keen to distribute his time between work, following up on his children during training and moving behind them across the Emirates during league matches in various age groups, said that the support and moral motivation for his children helped them a lot in their sports career, and said: I am keen, like other parents, to give them enough time and follow the progress of their development. Al-Hawai stressed his keenness to reconcile academic achievement and sports, and added, “Thank God, all the children who excel at the academic level, and I am keen to divide the time between academic achievement and training or even other hobbies other than table tennis.”
