The world of soccer is in mourning following the disappearance of a footballer who a few years ago allowed his team to dream and achieve important goals. We are referring to Andrea Capone, a 43 year old man who played for some time in Cagliari.
His body was found lifeless inside a rather prominent Sardinian hotel. The man played for most of his time in Cagliari, first playing in Serie B and then wearing the red and blue shirt typical of Serie A.
After a promising career the man had decided to move to Vicenza and then to Grosseto. until 2010 when he played his last match in Salernitana. Afterwards he moved away from football because the club he played for was failed suddenly.
The causes of the player’s death
At the moment there is not much news regarding the causes that caused the death of the footballer, but investigations are underway aimed at investigating the issue further. According to initial rumours, there is one on the man’s head wound which may have caused his death.
Before this tragic discovery, the former footballer had spent an evening in the company of a friend of his, with whom he had attended a party. He then decided to stop and stay in a hotelthe very one in which it was found corpse.
The wound on his head could therefore be the sign of a fall or the consequence of a illness which didn’t give him the chance to collapse elsewhere. It will be anyway the autopsy to clarify what happened to this great face of football.
