The participation of Sharjah Sports Clubs, Fujairah Martial Games and Madame, with honorable results, in the 11th Arab Archery Championship, hosted by Tunisia in Monastir, under the auspices of the Tunisian Archery Federation and the Arab Archery Federation, with the participation of 65 male and female shooters from 9 Arab countries.
The tournament also witnessed the participation of Sheikha Al Khateri, the first Emirati female referee in the game at the continental level, in a step that culminates the efforts made by the Game Federation, to open up prospects for development for Emirati cadres, and support their careers to achieve the sustainability of future visions and ideas.
Al Madame Club won the gold for the men’s teams in the Olympic Arch, and the Fujairah Club won the gold for the women’s teams under 18 years, and also won the gold for the mixed teams under 18 years, and the gold for the women under 18 years through the player Hania Abdul Rahman, and silver in the same category by the player Alia Al Ali. , while Sharjah Club deserved the gold medal in the Olympic Arch for the U-18 Juniors category, mediated by Omar Al-Ansari.
Sharjah Club won the silver medal in the compound bow for men’s teams, and won the silver for the under-18 youth teams, while Al Madame won the bronze for third place in the same category, and the bronze for the under-18s category through the player Matar Al Ketbi, while Nasser Al-Sidrani won the Fujairah Club player Bronze medal for juniors under 18 years old.
Al Madame Club won two bronze medals, mediated by the players Nemantha Fernando and Abdullah Al Ketbi in the Olympic arch competition for the men’s singles category.
The qualifying round for the under-18 teams witnessed the victory of Nasser Al-Sidrani from the Fujairah Club with the gold medal, Hassan Al-Raisi from the Sharjah Club with the silver medal and Omar Al-Ansari from the Sharjah Club with the bronze medal. The second, while Madame Club won silver and bronze in the men’s singles.
