Eloy Ramírez was presented this Friday along with Marcos Domínguez, general director of the club, as the new coach of the Insolac Box 87. After passing through the benches of AEK Athens under the tutelage of Joan Plaza, of the Tizona Burgos on the staff of Diego Ocampo and more recently of Monbus Obradoirothe Utrerano coach joins the cajista team full of enthusiasm and challenges.
Regarding the team’s performance in training, Eloy was “happy with the work the team has been doing since last Wednesday, highlighting in this regard that “the quality of the daily work is being quite good.” The cajista coach paused in the illusion of having received the call from a team from his homeland: «It is a challenge at home, in Seville. It is the first opportunity I have in Seville capital and being with the four letters of the box make me feel very lucky».
When asked about the work of the amateur composers, the man from Utreño pointed out that “I ask the fans keep pushing and keep coming with enthusiasm». “I want to restore trust and move this forward,” said Ramírez.
Regarding the style of play, the Sevillian coach specified that he is looking for “a hybrid between the game of Joan Plaza and Diego Ocampowhich are the sources from which I have drunk. In this sense, he wants “the rhythm in both attack and defense to be high since increasing the number of possessions can give us victories.”

Marcos Domínguez, for his part, indicated that Eloy “is well known in Sevillian basketball and contributes an incredible job, an energy that we needed“, adding that “he is a person who knows the category and works piece-rate.”
