Elisa Mouliaá’s defense coordinates the complaint of several women against Errejón

Elisa Mouilaá’s defense is preparing the complaint of several women against Íñigo Errejón. If until now only the actress and communicator had filed a formal complaint against the politician, now there are several women who, under the coordination of a lawyer, are willing to go to court, as Article14 announced and elDiario has confirmed.

For now, Mouilaá’s statement, scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed until next week: it will be Tuesday, November 12, the same day that Errejón will testify as an investigator for sexual assault, although at different times. The women who would join the process live in different cities, so each complaint would fall in different courts.

The actress and communicator Elisa Mouliaá reported Errejón to the police station for a sexual assault committed in September 2021, after meeting at a party. In the complaint, the actress reported that Sumar’s former spokesperson in Congress closed the door of the room they were in, took out his penis in front of her and touched her without her consent.

Mouliaá went to the police when he learned that Íñigo Errejón had resigned from all his political positions, including his membership as a deputy, after the publication of a woman’s testimony on the Instagram profile of journalist Cristina Fallarás. This testimony pointed out that he was the author of sexist attitudes and attacks towards several women. As reported by Sumar and Más Madrid, Errejón himself acknowledged at least part of these accusations. Later, he publicly announced his resignation.

Mouliaá first made his case public on the social network The magistrate’s first step was to ask Congress for certification that Errejón was no longer a deputy and that, therefore, he did not have to be investigated by the Supreme Court. Now the first to appear will be Mouliaá herself to ratify and explain her complaint of sexual assault against the former politician.
