A short clip of the upcoming Elden Ring from FromSoftware leaked online, briefly showing some of the gameplay and setting.
The eagerly awaited soulslike RPG was originally announced at E3 in 2019, but after that announcement they followed each other two years of silence. After that time frame Elden Ring he showed up again with a trailer released during the Summer Game Fest 2021. Following this unexpected revelation, various official news followed in the following weeks, which did nothing but increase the hype of the fans.
Developed by FromSoftware in collaboration with George RR Martin, author of the fantasy novels A Song of Ice and Fire, Elden Ring will present a very different structure compared to the previous soulslike of From with a much wider setting.
Through a recent leak, we can now see the gameplay component of Elden Ring. The thirty-second cutscene shows the player on a rocky hill near a medieval castle before fully rotating the camera and showing a huge tree in the distance. After that the character’s movement is shown, identical to all of From’s other soulslike ones plus the possibility of jumping.

Although the origin of the leak remains mysterious and is not confirmed at the time of writing, the clip would be recorded on Xbox One and has already been removed from numerous YouTube channels before circulating on Twitter. If such a clip were to be truly real, it gives fans a better look at the movement of Elden Ring, its gameplay and its environmental design.
Waiting for new official information relating to the title in question, we remind you that Elden Ring will be released on January 21, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. In addition, those who purchase the work on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to redeem for free a digital copy of the new generation version.
