Egyptian President believes Israel’s actions in Gaza went beyond self-defense
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi condemned Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip – he believes that they go beyond self-defense. The head of state made the corresponding statement on Sunday, October 15, at a meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, writes RIA News.
The Egyptian political and military leader noted that the victims of the last three operations in Gaza were 12.5 thousand Palestinian civilians, of which 2.5 thousand were children.
Blinken is touring Arab countries as the Palestinian-Israeli conflict escalates.
Earlier, the Iranian Permanent Mission to the UN reported that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran would not intervene if Israel launched a ground operation in Gaza if Jerusalem did not attack Iranian territory.
