In an interview with the Hard to Mark program, Flores reported that he told the former owner of Chivas de Guadalajara that he would be willing to work for a year for free due to the love and appreciation he has for the institution.
“The truth is that one day talking with Jorge I told him: ‘I think Chivas marked so many of us, and gave us so much satisfaction, that I would work for you, Jorge, for a year for free.’ arena to get Chivas ahead. That was what I did recently when they interviewed me and I told them: to Chivas, because of the memory of that promise, I would go to work”
