After the success of both parts of the adaptation of DuneDeadline confirmed that Legendary Pictures is already in the process of creating a third part. This will once again be directed by Denis Villeneuve and will adapt the next stage of Paul Atreides' story.
The third part will be an adaptation of the book Dune: Messiah. This takes place several years after the events of the original book and shows the consequences of Paul taking control of the empire. It also works as a closing to Paul's story, so it was logical that it also received its adaptation.
Although the news is exciting, It seems that we will have to wait several years to see it on the big screen. After all, the first two films had a somewhat lengthy production process. In addition, Denis Villeneuve is currently working on a completely unrelated film.
