Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- Extensive material damage left an accident that occurred early this Saturday, after the driver of an unknown vehicle hit a wooden post and knocked it down to later flee the place.
The events occurred in the early hours of Saturday, at the intersection of Lázaro Cárdenas and Javier Mina streets, in the downtown sector of Los Mochis, Sinaloa.
According to the information obtained, residents of the sector heard a loud blow and left their homes to see what it was about. There, they observed that a telephone pole had been uprooted after allegedly having been hit by a vehicle, whose characteristics are unknown, after it immediately left the scene.
Falling, the heavy wooden post pulled the telephone wiring and this in turn caused another nearby pole to also fall to the ground. After the second pole fell, it caused damage to a Ford truck and a van that were parked on the sidewalk.

During the course of the day, telephone employees came to install new poles and carry out work to restore telephone and internet services in the affected area.
