L’May 31st update for Dragon’s Dogma 2 is very interesting, bringing several new features to Capcom’s action RPG both on the technical and gameplay fronts, introducing the support for NVIDIA DLSS 3 and various changes which also concern the actual game mechanics.
The part concerning DLSS 3 is obviously linked to the PC version, while the other innovations also apply to consoles in this case Title Update of May 31stcorresponding to patch 1.150 on the various platforms.
On the PC front, support for DLSS 3 Frame Generation obviously brings great advantages for users who own an NVIDIA video card with RTX architecture, in particular with the new 4000 series, given the improvements that the technology can bring in terms of performance.
Inventory changes and bug fixes
As regards the game elements, also found on PS5 and Xbox Series maximum number of objects which can be contained within the warehouse, which goes from 1000 to 3000.
This is a change of notable importance, which can simplify the lives of players somewhat, although obviously it still requires a certain criterion in organizing loot and objects, given the quantity of elements to manage.
For the rest, the update fixes some specific bugs and therefore improves the stability of the game, removing some problems detected, within the optimization and improvement path undertaken by Capcom for its next generation open world action RPG.
In particular, as reported in the official notes, the problems with the availability of the “bandit’s blindfold” and the “lordly blindfold” have been corrected, a problem with the progression in the Guardian Gigantus quest has been fixed and another linked to the cosmetic elements of the pawns that appear different in other players’ worlds, as well as some dialogue-related bugs.
We’ve recently seen Dragon’s Dogma 2 sales increase, with new results announced by Capcom in May and the title now becoming a “key brand” for the Japanese publisher.
