Bandai Namco has announced that the DLC “Future Saga Chapter 1” Of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be available starting from May 24th, along with the eighteenth free update. In view of the imminent publication, the launch trailer of the expansion has been released, which shows some crackling sequences and also summarizes the new content arriving. The DLC will introduce gods new playable characters, specifically Android 18 (Dragon Ball Super), Broly (Restrained), Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rose) Ultra Supervillain, Vegeta (Super Saiyan God) Ultra Supervillain and Videl (Dragon Ball Super). Not only that, there will also be three new extra missions (Broly Arc, Black Goku Arc and Vegeta Arc), 12 Parallel Quests, 15 skills, 3 costumes, 5 Super Souls and 63 new illustrations for the loading screens. At the moment the price of this package has not been indicated. The DLC is only the first of a series of additional “Future Saga” themed content arriving in the coming months, which will further enrich the game.
What’s new in the free update
As previously mentioned, the new DLC will be accompanied by a free update which will add 7 new Raid Quests, eight costumes, 3 accessories, 93 upload illustrations, 5 Super Souls. Furthermore, it will raise the level cap of the player’s Avatar and improve some features.
