Zombies in the Tevinter? Just for today.
We really know very little about Dragon Age 4, the great return of Bioware’s RPG saga that still doesn’t have a launch window. What little that has circulated has done so in the form of short teasers or concept art, which have given us a small taste of what we can expect from this highly anticipated new chapter.
In the last few hours, however, a nice exchange on Twitter between the executive producer and the creative director of Dragon Age, Christian Dailey and Matthew Goldman, led to the publication, by Dailey himself, of an unpublished concept art dedicated to Dragon Age 4 and the celebration of Halloween.
Hey hey, happy Friday and Happy Halloween. It’s been a bit since we posted, but all is well. Have a SAFE / fun weekend. ??? pic.twitter.com/asWnXVlLSu

A curious mash-up, which sees a group of undead (and not Darkspawn) appear in the Tevinter wastes near an imposing fortress that displays a very suspicious red illumination: it could be the Lyrium Red, a substance that has played a very important role in the previous chapters of Dragon Age and is the first time that it is, albeit indirectly, associated with Dragon Age 4.
There are several other details that can be seen in this illustration, in addition to the Dragon Age 4 logo, such as the tree on the right, which could be a reference to the massive plant already seen in one of the game screenshots shown in the past months.
Also interesting to note that in the text of the Tweet Dailey states: “It’s been a while since our last post, but everything is going well“So let’s hope this refers to the ongoing work on the game. Bioware has what we can call a good relationship with the Game Awards, so hope remains that Dragon Age 4 can make an appearance this December at Geoff Keighley’s event.
