From November 1, those who have recovered from COVID-19 or vaccinated plasma donors can receive compensation in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. This was reported on Thursday, November 4, in TASS…
According to the source, earlier plasma donors were paid 5,000 rubles each. But, according to the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin, now those vaccinated or ill with coronavirus will be paid 10 thousand rubles for one donation.
“I think that this will also be an additional material incentive for such a great noble work that our donors are doing,” Sobyanin said.
He also noted that in 2020 Moscow became the first region of Russia to begin using donor plasma with antibodies to coronavirus to treat patients with severe COVID-19. According to him, this method of treatment really showed its effectiveness. The mayor’s press service emphasized that over a year and a half, 20 thousand people underwent treatment with donor plasma.
Larisa Guzeeva, who previously fell ill with COVID-19, refused a blood plasma transfusion with antibodies.
