The official presale of “Doctor Strange 2″ has already started, and fans are more than excited about this new installment of Marvel Studios, because, in addition to bringing back benedict cumberbatch as the iconic sorcerer, an extensive list of possible cameos in the film have been rumored. In that sense, and because this plot will continue to explore the concept of the multiverse, many believe that it would also serve to restart the UCM.
The idea of the current universe as one of thousands of alternate realities was further developed in the first “Loki” installment, as well as in “WandaVision.” However, the biggest consequences, until now, we could see carefully in “Spiderman: no way home”. Even so, the great chaos is about to be unleashed in “In the multiverse of madness”.
In that sense, the specialized portal Screen Rant mentions some key points that would lead the film directed by Sam Raimi to reinvent the UCM.

new avengers
Some of the most representative members of the Avengers are no longer part of the present of Marvel Studios productions. Although various rumors suggest that a new group of superheroes could be organized, the trailer for “Doctor Strange 2” hinted at the presence of the Illuminati.
In that sense, it is possible that these powerful beings could line up as the new Avengers, although there is also the possibility of giving way to younger characters, which could materialize with the introduction of the Young Avengers, of whom we have some glimpses thanks to the presence of Kate Bishop.

Mutants reboot
It’s only a matter of time to see the X-Men in the MCU, but how long will we have to wait? Everything indicates that not much, since in the aforementioned clip of the film you can hear the voice of Charles Xavier.
However, it is possible that Patrick Stewart (an actor we saw in the 20th Century Fox mutants franchise) could be playing a variant of Professor X. In any case, his appearance alone would allow the arrival of a wide spectrum of roles, which would begin to blur the traces of the heroes we have seen so far.

Thanos’ replacement
Since his debut in 2012’s “Avengers” post-credits scene, Thanos has represented a fearsome figure within the Avengers narrative. However, when he was killed in “Endgame”, his position as the main villain was left empty for the search for a new antagonist.
In “Loki” we learn that He Who Remains created the TVA to protect his timeline and prevent even more dangerous variants of himself from existing. But, when Sylvie finished him off, Kang the Conqueror would be the next threat in the making and he would be worse than ‘The Mad Titan’.
For now it is not known what the effect of “Doctor Strange 2” will be for future Marvel Studios projects. We only know that fans are very excited for the film, which is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 6.
