The Discord messaging service announced this Monday (31) that it has started to allow the synchronization of the application with the PlayStation 4 and 5. At this moment, however, it will only be possible to show in the app what the user is playing.
Discord is very popular among gamers and has gained even more space due to the pandemic. According to a Bloomberg survey, the social network is valued at $15 billion.

Integration with the console is an old demand from users and the partnership had already been announced by the company in March 2021, but the first fruits of this were only happening now. There is still no forecast that the synchronization will reach other countries.
How to sync your Discord account on PlayStation (if set to US):
- Open the Discord app on your computer, browser or mobile phone;
- Go to User Settings, on the gear button that, on the computer, is in the lower corner, next to your name; on mobile, click on the button with your profile picture in the lower right corner;
- Click on Connections;
- Click on the PlayStation symbol;
- Log in with your PlayStation account;
- It’s done.
