ANDThe Disciplinary Committee of the championship applied harsh sanctions this Thursday against a manager and a member of the Junior de Barranquilla coaching staff, who had a conflict with referee Nicolás Gallo, who directed the match against Pereira on Sunday.
That day, Junior lost 2-3 and the members of the Barranquilla team, according to the resolution released by Dimayor, made strong recriminations to the central judge of that match.
From the local team’s bench they complained to Gallo for an alleged penalty by Jordi Monroy, a Pereira winger, against Luis ‘Cariaco’ González.
According to the Commission, Both the Junior goalkeeping coach, José María Pazo, and the club’s sports manager, Héctor Fabio Báez, threw harsh words against Gallo.
“Very bad Gallo. “I thought you were the best, but you are terribly bad, perverse,” was the phrase that, according to the central referee, Pazo told him before entering the dressing room.
Regarding Báez, Gallo wrote in his report that he said the phrase “A disaster of a referee, I’m going (censored). It’s always the same. Bad, perverse, you don’t come back here (censored).” The phrase is cut out in the bulletin.
