We are in a time when almost all the exclusives that are released for Xbox also reach the platform. Game Pass, and with that in mind, people have thought that it is the best way to publicize independent releases, and that if they are not put on said service it is the same as throwing away the opportunity to be known by more audiences. However, there are certain developers who don’t think that, and value people purchasing their titles for a flat fee much more.
Through a video released on Twitter on the account of the next indie called Hyperchargewhich currently has a campaign to launch on consoles Microsoftthe game’s creators themselves have spoken about people’s comments that relate to their decision not to release the game in Game Pass. And there they mention the phrase “just because our indie is not released on Game Pass, it does not mean that it is already a dead debut.”
Just because our indie game isn’t on game pass, doesn’t mean it’s “dead on arrival”.
We hope you still give our action figure game a try. 💚 #xbox pic.twitter.com/3D8dhlWOvZ

Here is the description of Game Pass:
Xbox Game Pass is a video game subscription service offered by Microsoft for its Xbox consoles and Windows PC. With Xbox Game Pass, subscribers have access to a vast library of games that they can download and play freely for as long as they keep their subscription active.
The Xbox Game Pass library includes a variety of games from Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with titles ranging from indie games to AAA blockbusters. Games are regularly added and removed from the library, providing subscribers with a constant rotation of new content to explore.
Remember that Hypercharge the next one is released May 31 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

Author’s note: It would be super interesting if Team Cherry regrets launching Silksong on Game Pass, especially to see how the people who were waiting for it on the service react. I think it would be fun to see the reactions.
