Bungie has officially announced that Destiny 2: Towards the Lightthe new update with two months of content offered to all players, will be released on April 9, 2024.
They will be there before launch three live broadcasts in which the development team will talk about the contents of the update, explain the new features and the added rewards. The live broadcasts will take place on March 19th, March 26th and April 2nd.
During the live broadcasts, viewers will have the chance to win two unique emblems via Twitch Drops.

Destiny 2 has also found a prestigious partner to offer thematic items starting March 19th. They will be aimed at celebrating the release of the film Ghostbusters: Glacial Menace on March 22. The Ghostbusters Barracks accessory pack includes a Slimer-themed Exotic Specter shell, a Garraka-inspired Exotic Sparrow, and an Exotic Ecto-1 ship. Furthermore, by purchasing a Ghostbusters item from the Eververse store in the game, you will be able to download the Slimer-themed Ghost Wrap paper mask for free via Bungie Rewards.
