According to the specialist, if the treatment was active and intoxication developed due to drugs or the virus itself, the skin may begin to react. “If a person has been in remission for a long time, then after COVID-19, as a rule, everything worsens,” she said. The dermatologist noted that in this case, psoriasis, lichen planus and seborrheic dermatitis most often develop. There is also a risk of allergic reactions of various types. To minimize the risks, she advises to restore and cleanse the body after illness through detoxification.
Earlier, dermatologist Alexei Semochkin revealed a way to stop hair loss due to coronavirus. According to him, such complaints come about two to three months after recovering from COVID-19. For the treatment of hair loss and skin deterioration, autoplasma therapy, that is, the patient’s own blood plasma, is needed, the physician revealed a way to stop the problems.
