Unreasonable reports are suspected of knocking down the pages of a peace march in Helsinki on Monday.

Organizers suspect the rapid growth in the popularity of the event will be the cause of the trolls getting caught in the teeth.
“I received several emails on Sunday night about password requests made to my Facebook account. On Monday morning, Facebook had suspended both my personal account and event pages, ”co-organizer of the peace march Susanna Makaroff says.
Makaroff says he discussed the case with several experts whose responses have been unanimous.
“Everyone has said that this is a behavior typical of trolls. We also don’t see anyone else having an interest in making the event difficult. ”
Makaroff regrets that Facebook decides to suspend event pages and organizers’ accounts without verifying the veracity of the announcements.
Organizers say they used it all Monday to resolve the situation. New pages were also created for the event, but interest has remained low compared to the original announcement.
“Yesterday we got in touch with Facebook’s country manager, who promised to find out, but the pages are still not open.”
Event pages the freezing happened at the worst possible time, according to the organizers.
“The peace procession will take place as early as next Saturday, and it is currently not possible to share information about the event through Facebook pages. In addition, several partners have wondered what is happening. ”
However, Makaroff would like to thank the partners for understanding the situation.
“We have not lost a first partner due to the attacks. On the contrary, our lines have just condensed, ”he says.
Organizers are expecting more than ten thousand participants for Saturday’s procession, despite the challenges.
The peace procession is scheduled to gather at the Parliament House at noon.
